Privacy Policy

Household planning information: the calculator uses adult, child and pet counts, planning duration, climate, housing type, budget, existing supply categories and quantities, selected priorities (which may indicate medical equipment, medications or infant needs), and optional pet water needs. Your saved plan also includes calculated quantities, checklist confirmations, safety notes and a creation date. You do not need to provide names, an address or an email to use the calculator.

Saved on your device: calculations run in your browser. When you finish the calculator or change checklist confirmations, the plan is saved in your browser’s local storage under the key `blackout-ready:plan`. The current application does not send these household answers or the saved plan to our server, and does not synchronize them between devices or browsers. Local storage remains until it is overwritten or you clear the site’s browser data. Anyone using the same browser profile may be able to see it.

Accounts: sign-up and sign-in for content management send account information, including your email and password, to the authentication service provided through Lovable Cloud. Authentication sessions are stored in the browser so signed-in users can remain signed in. Creating an account does not upload your household plan.

Messages you send us: if you email us, we receive the information you include and use it to answer your request. Do not send sensitive household or payment information unnecessarily.

MailerLite is not connected. We do not currently run a MailerLite signup form, send a marketing checklist or newsletter through it, or use MailerLite open/click tracking. Any future email marketing, confirmation process and tracking will be described in an updated policy before being introduced. Account-related authentication messages are separate from marketing emails.

The website is hosted through Lovable and uses Lovable Cloud for authentication and article storage. Serving website requests involves technical information such as the requested URL and network/browser information. Application error handling logs errors and may report error details and page context through hosting-provided reporting when available, to diagnose problems. We have not verified provider-specific log retention periods or every item recorded by the hosting service.

Lovable provides platform-level visitor analytics for published sites. These are separate from Google Analytics. We have not verified this site’s current platform analytics configuration, exact data fields or retention, and do not claim that the hosting service collects no information.

Google Analytics 4 is not connected. The current application does not install Google Analytics or advertising tracking. Event hooks in the application do not send household answers; they only call a tracking function if one is installed. We are not claiming Google account settings, opt-out tools or advertising-feature configurations that have not been set up.

Current product links are ordinary retailer links, not approved affiliate tracking links. No affiliate program participation or referral commission reports are currently active. See our Affiliate Disclosure.

When you visit another website through a retailer or reference link, that website handles your information under its own privacy policy and may use cookies or other technologies. If affiliate links are introduced later, a retailer or network may use tracking identifiers to credit referrals; we will update the disclosures before activating those links.

The calculator uses local storage, not a cookie, to retain your household plan. Authentication also uses browser storage for signed-in sessions. We have not added Google Analytics cookies, MailerLite form cookies, Stripe checkout or affiliate tracking cookies to the current application. Provider-level hosting practices beyond the inspected application have not been fully verified.

You can remove the saved plan by clearing this website’s local storage/site data in your browser. This also may sign you out and remove other saved preferences. Clearing cookies alone may not clear local storage. Blocking browser storage may prevent saving plans or keeping a sign-in session.

Our site does not currently change its behavior in response to browser “Do Not Track” signals. Other websites you choose to visit, including retailers, may collect information about your activity under their own policies. This statement does not mean Google Analytics, MailerLite, Stripe or affiliate networks are currently integrated with Blackout Ready.

To remove a device-local plan, clear this website’s browser data; we cannot retrieve or delete that copy remotely. To ask about account information or messages we hold, correct information, or request deletion, email stan@instantmarketing.app. For deletion requests, use the subject “Delete my data” and identify the account email where applicable. We may need to verify your request and retain information where required by law. There is no active marketing subscriber list or paid purchase record system on this site.

If you live in California, privacy rights may apply depending on the law and its applicability to our business. These can include rights to know, delete and correct personal information, opt out of sale or sharing, limit certain uses of sensitive personal information, and receive equal service when exercising applicable rights. We do not sell personal information or share it for cross-context behavioral advertising. To make a request, email stan@instantmarketing.app.

Information needed to operate the website, authentication and article service is processed through Lovable and Lovable Cloud. Messages you email are handled through our email service. We may disclose information when required by law. MailerLite, Google Analytics and Stripe are not currently connected service providers for this site. Your device-local household plan is not uploaded by the current application.

Our site is meant for adults planning for their households. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children. Adults may enter household child counts for local planning; do not enter children’s names or other identifying information.

If we make material changes, we will post the updated policy here and update the effective and last-updated dates. New services will be reflected in the policy before being introduced.
